LGBTQA+: “A Primer in Terminology.”

Many find talking about sexual orientation and gender identity/gender expression difficult, awkward, or even “off-limits” because they’re afraid of saying the wrong thing or offending someone. This list of terminology is to help people find the words to ease and assist meaningful, accurate, and respectful conversation. LGBTQ people use various terms to identify themselves, not all of which are included in this glossary.
