What is “Wellness”?

We often hear words like “wellness”, “holistic”, and “mindfulness” bandied about, but what do these terms really mean? “Wellness” usually refers to intentional actions to pursue goals leading to better mental, physical, and spiritual health (https://globalwellnessinstitute.org/what-is-wellness/). This can include meditation, yoga, dietary and exercise regimens, education, and psychological and medicinal support. “Mindfulness” is a state of mental and spiritual engagement that seeks to direct one’s focus to the ephemeral nature of the here and now— to live life in each precious moment. “Holistic” refers to the totality of our work towards self-realization across all healing modalities (activities and support services). In my tailored support sessions and life coaching, we will explore the best ways to realize your best self and wellness is an integral part of the journey. There are many pillars to the process, but as a team, we can accomplish your personalized goals, and I will support you with respect and empathy every step of the way.
